Viking Wheel Blast Systems has announced the launch of their latest shot blaster, the SH 3636 Spinner hanger shot blast machine, in their industrial Spinner Hanger line.
This new and redesigned unit is equipped with 2, VK PowerMax 15 HP blast wheels at 3525rpm. The wheel can handle 310 pounds of abrasive each minute. It operates at a speed of about 295 feet per second. The blast cabinet features a primary drum with two separate compartments. This design allows for continuous processing of parts. Operators can manually load and unload the front compartment without shutting down the system. The drum is completely lined with 1/4″ manganese alloy on the sides and 1/2″ cast chrome/moly directly in front of the blast wheels. Each compartment contains one fixture in front of the blast wheels with a hook capacity of 750 lbs.
