Electrical Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical components. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment. Travel is required for this role and may be up to 30%. Shop positions are also available for the appropriate candidates.

Duties:

-Travel to customer facilities to install new industrial machines. Install wiring and conduit followed by machine start-up and tuning.

-Onsite machine troubleshooting and repair.

-Building and installing new electrical panels along with running conduit and wire on industrial machines.

-Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, ensuring optimal running conditions.

-Collaborate with other technicians and management to meet specific timelines.

-Adhere to electrical schematics and component selections.

-Implement inspections on new builds and adhere to company quality control processes.

-Conduct tests to detect faults in electrical circuits and components.

-Assist in the installation of new machines in the field are a possibility dependent on experience.

Skills:

-5+ years electrical experience

-Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical prints and layout.

-Ability to detect and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

-Experience as an industrial electrician with a focus on safety standards.

-Mechanical knowledge related to various industrial applications.

-PLC programming and commissioning.

-Strong problem-solving skills.

-Attention to detail.

-Ability to travel up to 30%

Field Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our new and used equipment. This is a critical role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Travel is required for this role and may be up to 30%. Shop positions are also available for the appropriate candidates.

Duties:

-Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
-Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
-Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively-Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement maintenance plans
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
-Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
-Assist with equipment installation and modification projects-Travel with our Field Service teams to do installs at customer locations. This includes mechanical, assembly rigging if qualified, and welding if qualified.
-Provide technical support to other departments as needed.

Skills:

-Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
-Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude-Welding and fabrication abilities preferred
-Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment
-Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
-Experience with logic controllers and low voltage systems is preferred
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Strong communication and teamwork abilities-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Industrial mechanic experience
-Technical sales knowledge
-Low voltage system troubleshooting skills
-Field service experience is a plus

Description: Welding, plasma cutting, fabrication equipment, and or assembly of industrial equipment.

Compensation: High starting depending on experience with bonus opportunities twice per year. Overtime periodically depending on performance.
