  • Technical Sales

    Viking is a leading provider of industrial equipment to manufacturers in the US, with a focus on the foundry, forging, and steel fabrication industries. Our equipment is used by some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including GM, Caterpillar, Honda, AGCO, and other automotive, agricultural, trailer and parts manufacturers. We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team.

    As Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. In addition, you will need to learn the technical operations of our equipment and understand its application for our customers’ processes, enabling you to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.

    In addition to sales responsibilities, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for estimating and developing proposals for customers. This will involve working with our engineering and production teams to determine the most effective solutions for our customers and creating detailed proposals that accurately reflect the scope of work and associated costs. This aspect of the role will require strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

     

    Key Qualifications after Training:

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
    Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing customer accounts.
    Strong understanding of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    Ability to learn and understand the technical operations of our equipment.
    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    Experience with estimating and proposal development.

  • Welder and Fabricator (1st and 2nd shifts available)

    Description: Welding, plasma cutting, fabrication equipment, and or assembly of industrial equipment.

    Benefits: Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, life insurance plus optional, dental, vision, and disability.

    Compensation: High starting depending on experience with bonus opportunities twice per year. Overtime periodically depending on performance.
